How You Can Help
There are many ways of financially supporting Hospice and its important work in the Greater Trail area. All donated funds stay in the community for the Greater Trail Hospice Society to provide its services: staff to coordinate volunteers, counseling for our clients, integration of our programs with other community groups.
Our non-profit Society depends on the support of each and every interested person.
•We have a monthly debit system. The amount set by the donor is taken from their bank account every month and a tax receipt is issued at the end of the year •Leave a bequest in your will. This will provide tax relief for your estate•Take out a Life Insurance policy with Hospice as the beneficiary. You can receive a tax receipt for the monthly premium•Gift RRSPs, RRIFs and TFSAs. Your estate receives a receipt to offset taxes and there are no probate fees•Gift stocks, bonds or mutual funds to Hospice. You receive a charitable receipt and there is no tax on any capital gains created by the donationAll gifts to the Greater Trail Hospice Society receive a tax deductible receipt. You can receive bonus tax deductions if you are a first time charity donor. (You may consult your tax accountant or GTHS for more information about this.)You will feel good knowing that you are contributing help essential to those dealing with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families.
